Regarding the Requirements issue, I know it will not go to Ooo 2.0 but what
I think is to prepare it for Ooo 2.X which maybe possible.

No, probably not for 2.0 that's too late unless the change is very minor.
(No change in UI, no change in Help)

But when you find someone to do the work (implement it), the there's a good
chance to get it into 2.x
