From the QA's point of view, we would need to run through the testprocedures
for all plattforms and all localizations again. And I see only one effect by
doing so: making volunteers to get tired of testing.
Not sure if it's feasible, but may be we could form a international QA
team with all languages mixed when we are testing a release for the 3rd
time, roughly :
- we already know that some l10n bugs won't be corrected in 1.x branch,
so no need to check for l10n bugs, only for functionnality
- we try to make a repartition of the tests between the languages and
the plateform
- we check for our local separately (date, currency, printing, etc...)
- those who are speaking/reading english in our local project could join
this team on the qa-en list and use this page
http://qa.openoffice.org/testcase/index.html to achieve them ?
Do you think it could be possible and save some of our volunteers ?
Kind regards
Sophie
