well .. as it now seems to be official, I'd like to thank all for the
votes and of course Scott, Michael and (although absent for quite a
while now) Gordon for setting up and growing this project.
And .. looking at the number of members, this is really a large project.
We have about 550 observers (I think, this is only topped by the ja
project), about 350 subscribed members at our dev list and about the
same number with CanConfirm privileges. There is a lot of work to do
here at the project, but i think, we have the power to get this done ;-)
I don't like to make more words than necessary here. Just two more things:
- If you feel something goes not the way it should go, please tell this
openly. I hope, I can help to cope with the problems but only by
becoming Lead of this project, I didn't get the wisdom of ages
- I'm really happy to work with Joost, as I know he has much insight and
knowledge of the project and has been here, doing many things behind the
scene for months now.
Congratulations to you and Joost. You two already are doing a lot for
the QA team.
