Hi all,
I have just created Issue 52978 :
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=52978
My problem is that the file in question is protected by my professional
code of secrecy, so I can not submit it to the list for scrutiny. The
file has been given to me by one of my clients. What can one do in such
a case ? Is is possible to provide the dev with a copy of the file with
a signed agreement to secrecy ? Do Sun Legal provide any such
agreements ? Obviously, as an attorney, I could provide one myself to be
signed, but who would sign at Sun ? The Devs, Sun Legal, a VP , the
CEO ?

When I supported WordPerfect we came across that issue. Depending on the
issue, it can often be duplicated regardless of the actual content. For
text there was a utility that could be used to replace text (although it
could be done manually). For graphics, if the issue still occurs with
edited graphics (for example covering the contents with a white box and
saving just the white box) that may be an option for preserving the
needed privacy. Unless it is a suspected file size barrier that
someone wants to try to reproduce.
