Yes, this is my first successful build of 1.1.5 :) I'm using Pavel's build
system and the source is m58. I have not build the windows version yet. I had
to preinstall my Windows some months ago, so I'm gathering needed software
for the build. I think that get it now, I start compile this morrning before
I go to work.
I have worked before with the testtool, for 1.1.4 version we use some test
from it. I made some changes in the scripts for our language but not
everythinkg was successful :).
Jörg Sievers asked recently at the gemanophone lists, who is willing /
interested in writing testtool scripts. Enhancing current scripts for
testing more languages might be a starting point?
I don't really know the current structure of the scripts, but maybe Jörg
could help with that. Ask here at the list an I hope, you'll get answer.
I need a little guild what to change in the
scripts to can run this test for our localized build. Which scripts have to
be run for complete QA?
If you checkout qa/qatesttool, you'll find a windows and unix script
under qa/qatesttool/script . That will run a set of tests in a row.
(Will take about 1.5 days.)
I think that one of the testtool scripts do these
shakedown tests (Don't you call them "smoke test"?).
Not exactly. But testtool scripts cover most of the manual tests (e.g.
you could scip most of the "stupid" file open , file create tests form
the shakedown testsuite). But manual tests should be done as well, to
find more localization issues or problems in document formatting ...
After all, we cannot enforce you to spend weeks or months with testing
.. and I don't know, what ressources are available at the bulgarian
community. So .. more or less it's up to you to decide, if you are ready
for release.

I'll download the last versions of testtools.
You only need the most current scripts for 1.1.5 (checkout with tag ooo115).
Testtool itself should be in your packages and should work well now
(issue crashing testtool on windows and solaris has been fixed with
1.1.5rc4).
If you like, you can tell me, when you have finished the WIndows build.
I have a windows box more or less lurking around and could run the
automated tests on it. But I need to start by tomorrow (have not much
time next week and will be travling to Koper next weekend).
