Hello, I had a lot of trouble, when I tried to use Openoffice 2.0 on my x86_64 system.
Especially I got error messages containing "invalid ELF header", when I tried to start Openoffice via "soffice". By using "soffice.bin" openoffice started! Now I have a solution, that fixes the problem, temporarily: You have to change one line in /opt/openoffice.org2.0/program/soffice: In line 144 you can find: LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$sd_prog:$moz_lib" Change this to: LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$sd_prog:/usr/lib64" Then, it works! But notice: This is only for 64bit Linux (especially Fedora Core; I don't know if it work for other distributions) So, have a lot of fun with Openoffice 2.0! ______________________________________________________________ Verschicken Sie romantische, coole und witzige Bilder per SMS!
