I don't use KDE, so I cannot test. The only problem I have with toolbars
is issue http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=40705 that
occurs when metacity is used and workarounds for broken apps is disabled.

You can no longer move the toolbar unless you press the window-manager's
modifier key (usually <alt>)

What I'm trying to say: When the user uses a different window-manager or
has some window-matching software running, this may cause problems.
Maybe it is also the theme that makes a difference.

And the user is using an OOo-provided package, right?
