Hi Sophie,

I just download the template you've prepared for QA test cases.
Thanks a lot for it, it's a very usefull document, well structured.
I understand it's a basis to right correctly our set of tests, shall we save it in html to uplaod the test case on our site after ? How do you see the way we will use it once completed ?

As stated in the issue .. it is a draft at the moment.
I cannot really say, how it would be used in the future. I just tried to put together the informations that seems most relevant to me.

For the future there are two possible ways:
- single documents would be available as .odt or .html (just as the smoke test suite is today)
- set of documents would be available in a management portal (like TCM)

As said in a seperate mail, current test cases (smoke tests as well as TCM) are legally unclear, that's why I put the PDL notice to the template. As we need to update smoke tests anyway, using the tempalte would enshure, that we can reuse the descriptions with an open license.

Could you have a look at the current template, if it is usefull for your base test cases? I'll write some installation test cases within the next days. (Not today .. as I',m not very productive atm due to a small new year's apéro ;-) ).

I hope, we can sort out the questions about TCM / smoke test strategies within the next weeks.

André
