Yes, it is linked from the qa main page (qatesttool - automated GUI testing) > If not, it should be with a listing of those operating systems it > works with or if the list is shorter, those it does not work with Testtool is suppoesd to work on all platforms / OS's .. but it might have errors. ... > > If this is ok a set of scripts for release testing could be run using > > script/unix/ooo_releasetests.sh (this will run for about a day). > > > That long? Well, it must be a pretty intense test set then. The two most primitive tests (first and top ten) take 15 to 20 minutes each. Those test very basic functionality only. The release test script has more detailed tests for each OOo application and most of the GUI elements should be touched during thoses script run. There is even a more complete script (in the same directories) that tests in addition for regressions, special issues ... it will take some days to run those scripts. But remember: although those scripts are huge, test a lot of functionality (which a common user might never see in his daily work) it follows a given path and is somewhat "blind". So manual tests (tht my put OOo in unexpected situations) are still important. André -- Echte DSL-Flatrate dauerhaft für 0,- Euro*!
