Hi testers,
The French N-L Mac OSX QA team have found a few bugs already :
1) A directory gets created in the root partition containing the
Agenda wizard, and then of course won't work when the users
attempts to start the wizard from within OOo.
In fact, this directory does appear at / but with users right, and
should probably be created only when user in question does have admin
rights. Can anyone confirm ?
Temporary solution :
create ~/.openoffice.org2/user/template directory
The problem seems to be caused by hardcoded path somwhere. FYI, an
issue already does exist about this problem : <http://
www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=62551>
Please confirm (done for Mac Intel )
2) It appears that Java applets don't work, i.e. the test case for
inserting the Java clock fails. If you attempt to read the source
code via the HTML view and then switch back OOo segfaults.
I can confirm that the Java problem also occurs on Maho's FreeBSD6
binary packages.
Yes, this is an issue, but we decided it was not a stopper. The java
problem is already reported on issue : <http://www.openoffice.org/
issues/show_bug.cgi?id=54020> , and is marked ooolater, because not
trivial to fix, as suggested by Stephan Schaefer.
