Hi Peter,

well .. both of your questions would be better asked at the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list (they are not really a bug). And .. it's better to ask for intereseted people, before sending documents to the mailing list (this is a international list and not everybody has high speed access).

Dear Andre,

I am having a small problem with the writer. As you can se from the attached, there are a number of pages after page 6 with no data on them but only the header for the document. This happens when I use another part's document as a template and delete a page that is not needed by deleting the tables from that page. It seems to move the rest of the pages up, but leaves an inaccessable page behind which I cannot delete. I hope you follow.
Yes. The problem is, that you did not delete all content of those pages: there are pictures anchored to the page. (They seem to belong to the page header, but in fact they belong to each single page).
Remove those pictures and the pages would disapper.

To have those pictures in the page header, insert them again, but set the anchor to paragraph instead of page. You can place them raltive to the page afterwards.

Another niggle I have is that if you do not leave a space (blank line) between tables or the top of the page it does not seem possible to enter above or between the tables if you want to insert new text. The only work around I have found is to ctrl C the table and then paste it below a blank line, then delete the original table and use the space now available.
go to the first line of the table and hit Alt-Enter. This will insert a paragraph before the table.

I am registered as part of your team, but have been able to contribute little else but things gone wrong from my persepective. We have installed Open Office at the fcatory and it works very well for us even though the German head office is sceptical.
You my contact me in private .. german community is very strong and maybe we are able to talk to your head office (well .. little but existing chance).

André
