You should also reade the issue handling guidelines at
http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/index.html. Please do also read
the Issue handling overview and the guides for new issues (linked from
the page above).
We do structured tests from time to time (e.g. before a release or for
localization tests). Thoses tests would be announced here on the list.
If you can help testing on Mac OSX or FreeBSD this would be great. You
should also subscribe to the porting lists ( see
http://porting.openoffice.org)
