If I remember correctly, there is a reporting tool that you may add to
any OOo installation. Is this not available to you or did you not
install it? I mostly curious as to what is missing from various
releases.
The crashreport tool is only included with Sun Microsystems, Inc.
provided builds as far as I know. To handle crash reports send via this
tool the receiving side ( a server operated by Sun in this case ) has to
preserve the build which of course Sun can not do for builds done by
someone else. Other suppliers haven´t yet set up an infrastructure to
receive and handle such crash reports AFAIK, altough this would be
theoretical possible as the protocol is documented. Therefor these other
builders normally build a version without crashreport tool support.
Bugs and other issues can be reported via issuezilla by everyone.
