You may check again with a more recent build. e.g. OODm1 from here

I think that problem can be on fonts because sometime I see letters like
"o", "g" and "p" that are attached (without space beetween it) or two
"l" that are attached like a single big l.
Sometime the same word on the same document is written ok in a page and
bad in other.
There is someone that has already seen something like this?
AFAIR yes .. we might have had such problems. But those should be fixed
in the current versions.
Could you please send me an example (OOo document and exported PDF) or
file an issue and attach the examples.
