1. PLEASE clarify version I am to test:

I have been given a TCM assignment and when I go there it lists the version # I need to test as "2.0.4RC" ... but when I go to ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/ I see "2.0.4_rc1_20060906_MacOSXPPC_en-US.dmg". Is that the right version for testing? (Hard for me to tell if the "1" after the rc is the same as just "RC" with no number.)

2. Web site improvement suggestion: Quick-link from project home page to DL new builds please!

It is very hard to figure out where to dl builds for testing. I happen to know the above ftp space because I am subscribed to the mac porting list where it was posted one day, and happened to keep that email. But it should be easy for new testers to find what they're looking for. Nowhere on the QA site can I find a link to downloads. What did I miss? "Documents and files" doesn't have builds for testing; the How To Help page does not explain where to get builds; if I just click Download and enter my OS (Mac OS X PPC) I am offered the chance to DL "OOo_2.0.3_MacOSXPPC_install.dmg" and not the new RC build. So then I followed a link to the Status page where there are "D"'s ... and the latest build posted there is 2.0.3RC7 (ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/2.0.3rc7/OOo_2.0.3rc7_MacOSXPPC_en-US.dmg)

How about a direct link to the ftp site on the project home page? Or is there a link there for downloading builds that I just am not seeing?

And, EXACTLY which version am I to test?

thanks,

kazar
