Hi QA,
the OpenOffice.org project gets more and more CWSs (Child Work Spaces)
from community members. That's great! Each CWS has to be approved by a
QA member or somebody how is willing to check the changes/fixes. The
resources inside Sun QA Team are limited, therefore all help from
community is welcome. In the past releases some CWSs were created and
approved by community members only. This can and should be enhanced.
I heard often the QA process to approve a CWS is too complicated.
Some members of the QA team analyzed the processes and worked out a
Check-list (CWS-Handling) and a Action-list (Issue-Handling in a CWS)
and created some flowcharts to get a better overview about the process.
These actions should be as simple as possible to follow the rule sets.
