That's right. Once we get the page online we will also activate the
notification that will point to it. The point is, that once an update is
reported, the update check will guide you to a web page where you can
get the update. So we need such a page first. Otherwise the user will
only get a Page Not Found Error in his browser - rather embarrassing IMO.
How are we supposed to check the translations then?
We will notify you once the translated page is online. Then you can
check the page and then, given that the page is OK, we will activate the
update notification.
PS: The third link (under "Services") in the English update page
http://update.services.openoffice.org/ooo/204.html points to a vintage
screenshot of OOo 1.1.0 (released Sep. 2003)... time to update it?
Yes, you are right. We also noticed this and are already trying to get
it updated. But thanks for the hint.
