How will you do it?
Same way as QA on a full installation package. But install en-US install
package and then the langpack.
For example, if I do QA on:
http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/2.1.0rc2/OOo_2.1.0rc2_20061130_Win32Intel_langpack_en-GB.exe
and this en-GB language pack passes QA, and I say GO for it, then can
our release engineering team propagate it? to: (for example)
ftp://ftp.kddlabs.co.jp/office/openoffice/localized/en-GB/2.1.0/OOo_2.1.0_Win32Intel_langpack_en-GB.exe
Yes and this was already done in the past (e.g. for languages where no
full install package exists).
But I hope, you don't want to release en-GB, as just this package has
errors.
