But when they vote for features and enhancements, users assume these items "just work".

It may be features which attract users, but it is broken features which drive them away.

It's no use having a feature unless it works properly.

In fact, a bug which might take only half an hour to fix can drive away users attracted by a feature created by months of developer effort.

Bug-fixing and QA in general needs more priority.
