Hi everyone :)Yesterday I took a deep breath and filed an issue to authorize the release of the OpenOffice.org 2.1 Vietnamese build for Mac OSX (Intel).
I wanted to edit the qatrack data for that build, but couldn't see how. I read the qatrack docs in the wiki, but they didn't explain how actually to perform tasks in qatrack.
It took me a while today to realize that the reason I couldn't do anything with the status page was that I was logged out. ;)
There _is_ a small link down the bottom of the page saying you need to login to edit, but I think it would also be handy to have a brief doc on how to use qatrack.
I've added some entry-level instructions (the kind I needed) to the qatrack doc in the wiki:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Qatrack Please edit it or remove it if you feel it is not useful.Thankyou to you all, for helping me get this far with QA. I still have a long way to go with the other builds for 2.1, but finally getting one released gives me hope that I will get through the whole process in time to get our updated translation in for OpenOffice.org 2.2! :)
Note: for people not involved in the l10n process, the deadline for _submitting final translations_ for OpenOffice.org 2.2 is January 18th.
At this stage, I'm still spending all my time on QA for 2.1. Thank heavens the release interval will be 6 months after that!
