in the past weeks I had some discussions with developers and members
from the QA whether and how we could establish regular automated
regression tests. The results of these discussions I have collected in
the Wiki page "Steps towards regular automated regression testing"
(http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Steps_towards_regular_automated_regression_testing).
There are still some open questions about e.g. required hardware, a
milestone potentially being ready for usage a few hours later. So if you
have input on this topic I would be happy to see content added to the
Wiki page or answers being posted to this mail. I would also be
interested to know whether people find it desirable at all to introduce
such regular regression tests.
Of course it is *VERY* interesting.
