Dear QA team members.
At the end of a—though cheerfull—issue hunting session in the IRC I came
to the conclusion that it would be very much more effective if I was able
to close duplicates and/or confirm reproducible defects in the Issue
Tracker on my own.
I just requested an observer role for the QA project. My OOo user name
is—as you might have already deduced from the subject line of this
mail—'mbayer'. I'm a member and content developer of the de.OOo project.
My fist issue seems to be 12438—which is very strange, because I was under
the impression I had reported a 4-digit issue in 2002, about broken
„ and “ under Linux.
However, today I'ld like to ask you to grant me the rights to resolve and
to confirm issues. This will help me to save other people's time.
