André Schnabel, 28-06-2007 14:42:
as QATrack gets more and more used within the OOo community, I'd like to
bring the Source of QATrack closer to the OOo project.
That means I'd like to sumbit the code to the OOo cvs. I'd suggest to
host the code under qa/qatrack (as most people interested in the souce
code belong to the qa project). Code contributions have been done by
Andrea Pescetti and me - both have signed the JCA. Do we need any other
preconditions to commit the code?
It should be LGPLed and have the license boilerpart.
After this has been done, I'd like to request a subcomponent "qatrack"
in OOo Issue Tracker. I could act as default owner for this.
+1
I hope, we do not need to make an own project for QATrack - but this
would be an option, if there re objections to host it under qa.
I don't have any objections.
On a OOo-wise level, Martin or Stefan could answer better, but I think
we could have a QA sub-project for QATrack, due to its sizing, including
mailing lists.
I don't see any need for another project either objections to hosting it
here.
You and Andrea could answer better if QATrack will need its own mailing
list, for internal issues, or we could use this one.
Let's see what Joost, Maho, Stefan and Martin have to say about it.
