From the protocol [1] of the 2nd Automated GUI Testing meeting you can
read that we have made two decisions:
OOo 2.3 (OOG680)
*qa/qatesttoo*l test script files which are not valid with that release
have to be deleted in that BRANCH [will be tagged 'ooo230'].
The BRANCH of the test script files will be opened (and announced here)
if there are SRC680 CWSes in QA which are for OOo 2.4 and higher and
differs (in test files!) from OOG680 (which will be the OOo 2.3 branch).
We will do that branch as late as possible to avoid doubling the work
for the maintainers.
OOo 2.4 (OOH680?)
We will remove until OOo 2.4 the sTheFirstDoc() routine from
qa/qatesttool/global/system/inc/master.inc which was a hack not to close
the office with a document close in the past. As the hack which creates
a document first which has some modifications (the sentence 'The first
doc!') has been introduced (years ago) the GetDocumentCount() command
was not available.
The modul maintainers have to test theit test scripts with the new
bahaviour to be sure that their tests work on the "backing window" (the
grey window if the last document has been closed).
