Hi test script developers,
as we continue to enhance on the extension management in the application it
became necessary to provide a set of functions to deal with those extensions
from within the testtool.
The Extension Manager Tools have been available for some time and were recently
moved from the framework tools to global/tools/inc/extension_manager_tools.inc.
Today i added two functions that
1) Expand the top nodes ("My Extensions" and "OpenOffice.org Extensions") so
all installed extensions but not their components become visible and
2) A function that allows to disable an installed extension - if possible.
Documentation can be found in CVS, you automatically get it when checking out
the module.
I appended the "Manual" ;-) to this mail for your convenience as well (might be
stripped off by newsgroup policy).
As always: If someone finds problems, faults or just ugly things do not
hesitate to report them, i'll do my best to fix it.
