thank you. I'm sorry to have posted on the English list in German
language, there are just so many mailing lists around that I've mixed them
up a bit ...
Regarding the problem I had mentioned, I've just learned from someone else
on the German dev list that the new shortcuts only work out-of-the-box
when you remove all customer settings and let OOo do a fresh
initialization. Otherwise you will have to establish keyboard shortcuts
yourself.
I verified this and it proved to be true for me. The procedure doesn't
sound very intuitive to me, but at least I now know what's going on.
