I have been doing testtool scripts on the localized Slovenian version
2.40. I keep getting the same strange behaviour in a number of test
scripts, best described by the following example:
The script has to check that handling reserved names like LPT0 & similar
is done the proper way. What happens in my case is the system asks for
the password (!) - likt "oh, this is something special, needs extra
permission", and this extra dialogue of course screws up the whole test
sequence (again and again and again).
Were it possible, that my version has some checkbox set wrong? (highly
unlikely in any case plus afaik all the routine start by taking care of
the application setup). The alternative of course is, that quite a
sizeable number of test scripts malfunction.
I have checked the issues but not too thoroughly (g) - I thought a short
broadcast would do, in case I need to tweak my installation. Otherwise
I'll start feeding the issue animal (g).
