What you call 'Paste Selected' is the default behavior on Linux or other Systems using the Xserver. The functionality is called 'Xclipboard'. AFAIR this option was implemented, to bring X functionality to Windows or Windows behavior to Linux, just as desired. 'Paste Selected' >From my point of view changing the UI string to 'Paste Selected' is the right solution.
