Hi Lihua,
to use the new collaboration feature in calc you have to set the
document into the shared mode by Tools - Share Document. If you now open
the document from another computer (or user) you will get a message that
the document is shared. For further information about this feature see
also http://specs.openoffice.org/calc/features/Collaboration.odt
Best regards,
Oliver

Hi all,
I created a non-shared calc document, saved it in a shared directory and closed it.
Then I opened it in another computer with OOo which have different user name in
Tools->Options->User data. I expected it would be opened in read only mode. But
I found I could edit and save it freely.
So I'm not sure about my usage of the the share document. Is there anyone who
can give me some advice?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
Lihua
