Hi all,

the wiki page is ready for tomorrows chat. You can find the links to
queries and hints what should be done tomorrow.
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Issue_hunting_party#Issue_hunting_party_5th_of_August_2008

Do you miss something? Please add it by yourself or give me a hint.

Have fun and perhaps one or more show stopper issues could be
identified in this chat. ;-)

Regards,
  Thorsten

Hello all!

After the fun and success of the last one, I would like to invite all QA-interested people to the next 24hours QA issue cleanup party.

Again, the chat shall take place at
irc://irc.freenode.net/
in the group #qa.openoffice.org

In my posting from July, 18th 2008, I wrote that we would like to repeat this in a feasuble frequency. My idea "First Tuesday, every month" was obviously welcomed. Last week I was asked what is going to happen on August's first Tuesday... (Thanks for remembering, Raphael :-)

In order to help the Release of OOo 3.0, we shall set the focus on "Verified issues" this time. The official RC will not be out yet, but the amount of issues/code changes in the office are fading as usual so what we will have next week will be "very close to RC".

One might believe it or not, but we have fixed a huge amount of issues fixed for OOo 3.0. Unlike many "Unconfirmed" issues, the "Verified" ones should ALL have a "good description" to understand, reproduce and verify.

This will ease "cross-application" QA and again will teach the participants a lot about the office they never dared to ask :-)

Questions, Comments?
Please feel free to ask!

Regards,
Stefan Baltzer
