Are you possibly using KDE as your desktop? In this case the control to switch between filepickers is disabled and we assume we have the system dialog. The code is correct as it is, we're playing it safe. Unfortunately we do not have any means to determine whether we're running on KDE or any other desktop. I hope that answers your question.
