So what I would like to do now is to repackage the official build with
the correct openofficeorg1.cab, create a new md5sum, and post back this
installer to bouncer. Whom should I assign the task of repackaging the
build in IssueZilla? I cannot do it myself, I believe - at least I'm not
sure I can using the standard dmake commands without building the suite
using the same settings and tools as in Hamburg.
You don't need to use the same tools to build, and you can build.
But building OOo on Windows is a very hard task... it's hard to set up
the environment and it takes a long time to finish.
I know, it's roughly 14 hrs, and I have all the correct tools (but not
the same as in Hamburg).
But as soon as you have the correct cab files etc. in the output
directories (from the solver), you should be able to build the installer
(probably) by running dmake. I will look into the readme file.
The ideal is to request Sun to make the builds again.
This is what I will do.
There are two things to say:
have you download the bundled OOo from another mirror? Maybe it was
corrupted.
The md5 sum is the same as advertised on the page.
If you download from another mirror and got the same error, I think the
better place to ask is on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list.
Hm, this is more connected to QA, that's why I'm asking. But I will also
on releases,
