For your information: 3.0 ppc is qa:ed and distributed for the
swedish language project. I've been running devs and rc:s and the
released version in a production environment for months now without
problem (but I do get the spinning wheel now and then).

Hi Shaun,
Who is the QA representable for 3.0 PPC Mac?
Uwe told us that James retired.
Anyway I hope someone help him or the new QA representable.
Sorry I'm just a tame build providing robot...
If someone can work privately with me to get up to speed, I'd be
willing to give it a shot. I just don't know what skills are
required to qualify. I am not a programmer, like I noted earlier. I
am a db architect, PM, biz analyst, database app designer, but all
this is on a high conceptual/analysis level. I never even succeeded
in making any kind of database I could connect Base to on my
computer, and have failed about 18 times at learning how to install
mySQL or Postgres and get them running on my Mac. I got MySQL
running but then I could not connect to it.
So chances are I am not qualified to do anything more than run test
cases in Writer. Maybe Calc but I use spreadsheets like lists, i
know nothing of writing calculations or generating charts or pivot
tables or any of that fancy stuff. Mostly among the OOo titles I
know a little bit about using Writer, and in the "real business app
world" I have a long history of being a power user of WP programs
(just never could stand X11 and find NeoOffice slow enough to make
me cry, so have not yet learned Writer real well.)
So there you have it -- probably my usefulness to this group is
quite limited, but I will always be willing to do what I can and
also to learn more as time allows (maybe 5 hour/week)
