Hi Joerg, Thank you for the quick reply.
About the digital signature, where can I get an private certificate? is there any association or something that issue the certificate? If I use the certificate, what will happen? Does it just tells people the document is writen by me? or it's a protection to the document? Can anyone else modify the document? Thank you Best regards, Lihua 发件人: Joerg Skottke 发送时间: 2008-12-04 18:17:04 收件人: dev 抄送: 主题: Re: [qa-dev] Several questions about OOo Hi Lihua, Zhu Lihua schrieb: > Hi all, > > I have several questions about OOo > > 1. That is for e.g. ftp and webdav connections. You define a master password that - provided once - removes the need to enter passwords for every connection you open. The OOo help holds more info about that. > > 2. File-digital signature. How to use this feature? I can see the there is no > signatures in the listbox. These are certificates (like cacerts) that you have installed e.g. in firefox. Those certificates are imported and can be used to verify the authenticity of documents that have been digitally signed. If you have a private certificate, you can use it to sign your own documents.
