Persian section of OOo is organized of 6 members and you can find more info

As you see this section is vey low activity.
Farsiweb company (http://www.farsiweb.ir/wiki/Main_Page) was translated OOo
UI to Persian language 3 years ago!
Unfortunately Iran government dosen't support free software and open source
projects therefore Farsiweb company didn't continue translation and
localisation.
maybe you will ask, if so why you (means myself) contribute with OOo?! My
answer is: just love.
