In this lagre and growing community, writing an issue is not
automatically a contribution for the project. Because it is simply too
simple to put "A phantastic dream, an odd idea or just a manifest of bad
mood and foul language" into an issue, submit it and forget it.
Please wait :-)

Thanks for your clear message. Sorry for cutting most ;-)
I indeed have experienced myself, that it is easy to write an issue. And
gradually realised that an issue is not a solution.
I've had a time when I worked though the new issues every evening,
commenting on some, closing dups and so. But that was time consuming,
and brought me in trouble with my other responsibilities.
Apart from trying to join few hours of the CleanUp parties (13-1-09 will
be hard, sorry), and checking issues when I dive into a special problem,
I have another idea: I'll try to find some people in the Dutch NLC, who
can commit themselves to do one or two issues a day. When I find few
others, it already make a nice difference.
Kindest regards,
Cor
