I've been asking for test cases for weeks.

Nobody ever gave me any. Still have a few hours here & there I could
volunteer.
I do not know how to make builds but I'd be happy to run tests on
anything that has an installer. Currently have 3.0.1rc2 which is the
latest thing I could find for PPC.
Also, the downloader is still not working for PPC from the main download
page on OO.org -- one gets bounced to some big form where the latest
version shown for PPC is 2.something ... and if one tries the link for
bit torrent there are only two languages showing up there for PPC
