Hello Paulo,

this is really great news!

I've configured QAL role for Portuguese localization for your account within QATrack. I wanted to do this for Rui Fernandes as well but unfortunately his account wasn't reachable via QATrack application. If you need to have similar role configured for Rui then please notify Per Eriksson (pereriks...@ooo). He's one of the developers of QATrack.

If you want to start with OOo 3.0.1 release then pick-up the Portuguese builds from the last release candidate directory on the extended mirror network listed at http://distribution.openoffice.org/mirrors#mirrors (extended mirrors are listed with an [E])

On the extended mirrors you find the content within the ../extended/3.0.1rc2 directory

eg.

http://neacm.fe.up.pt/pub/openoffice/extended/3.0.1rc2/

Regarding the release test scenario used to test the 3.0.1rc2 I would ask one of the native language QA teams that have already done this

eg. the German, French, Italian or Spanish team...several members of these teams are actively reading this mailing list.

If you're finished with your release tests then please file an issue like http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=98501 as upload request.

If you want to start with OpenOffice.org 3.1 then I would prefer to have a look at one of the current localized developer builds that have recently been uploaded to http://ooo.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/cws/upload/localization/ooo310_m5/
You could check the current localization within this build.

Kind regards, Joost

We are setting up a QA team to test the Portuguese Localization of OOo
3.01 and 3.1 (when available)
We want to start immediately
I am trying to understand exactly what must be done. It seems I must start by sending this mail to request permission to access the QA Track system.
Is it so?
