Hi, problem is, that there will be no visible content at all in the document, if you set character attribute to "Hidden" in an empty document. there will be no space to write visibe text, thus there cannot be a cursor. The non-printing characters also toggles the view of hidden characters. Same is, if you have document content, select it all and set character format to hidden. Hope that helps understanding Michael
