Hi Alexandro, it's not a good idea to create a user defined property named "Author" as there already is that built-in property with the same name. The problem for Marco is that OOo does not allow to edit it directly but always automatically takes it from the user settings.
This is more a "philosophical" problem, as adding an edit field in "File-Properties" would be easy. So an RFE for that could help.
