Howdy,
Nice Saturday here - quite / breezy / lovely lazy summer day...
Here is the bug / feature:
If you close all windows visible under Oo.o without actually exiting
OO.o then what happens when the user tries to open OO.o is OS dependent.
-- Windows XP - nothing happens.
-- Gnome (Ubuntu) - a blank window frame is displayed, no contents, no
menu, no toolbars, HOWEVER one can quit via the window system menu and
this does clear OO.o from memory. [a feature] (a feature under Linux
that I'm using way more then I should be today *chuckle* - did I mention
it is a nice day here, a day I should have taken the dog to the park,
not been working on a Base file it seems )
Ok - if one starts OO.o with an explicit option to open a file then this
always works fine, so it's not a big thing. Unless of course the file
uses the load event to hide itself...arrgh.
Seriously though - anyone think we need an issue about that blank
windows frame.
If so the correct behavior would be? Open OO.o start window (dashboard)?
Thanks,
Drew
@aside - How does one get in this predicament - OO.oBasic that's
how...LOL..ok, poor OO.o basic code. don't laugh at me too hard.
