Right: AFAIK, mp3 format is not supported under Linux. There is an addon
for JMF :
http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/mp3/download.html
There is a very detailed wikipage about how to play mediaÑ
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/How_Tos/Using_Movies_in_Impress_on_Linux_Without_Java
The solution that described in
"Using_Movies_in_Impress_on_Linux_Without_Java" has been out of date.
Because that in OOo320 when you press "Insert -> Picture -> From
File..." to insert a picture, the type of file is strictly constrained
by the ext-name. And the file like XXX.mp4, XXX.avi and XXX.mpeg etc.
cannot be inserted at all.
