Hi First of all, sorry for the spelling, I'm french.
I encountered a bug using OpenOffice thus I tried to declare it the "right" way... I try to read the explanation pages and I have noticed some issues, so, reading the entire page (http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/bug_writing_guidelines.html) I have some issues, and send their description to the given mail address :) - text indicates there is a link for the Component field's values explaination in the issue writing form, it exists, but in the http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/describecomponents.cgi page, none of the component field's values is explained, except "ui" - text indicates there is a link for the Issue type field in the issue writing form, but there is no link at all, and the explaination's own link (http://www.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#issuetype) is a broken one - text indicates there a link for Priority field's values explaination in the issue writing form, it exists, but the page (http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/page.cgi?id=fields.html#priority) has no explanation at all, and the guide's text own link (http://www.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#priority) is a broken one thus ... if someone like me try to correctly enter an issue, he doesn't really know how to choose the component, the issue type, nor the priority... and this is quite more difficult for non english readers/writers by the way, if you want me to give you a hand, just answer to this message explaining how to join, I have a quite good experience in quality management ;) I find your way of registering issues quite difficult to handle for new users, and without up to date explanations, many would rather stop declaring issue, that's what I was about to do. best regards Eric SCHREINER -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe send email to dev-unsubscr...@qa.openoffice.org For additional commands send email to sy...@qa.openoffice.org with Subject: help
