Robert Gemmell updated QPID-1592:
---------------------------------
Attachment: QPID-1592_19jan2008.sh
QPID-1592_19jan2008.patch
Attached is a patch, shell script, and 2 zip files in order to update the
consoles plugins and launchers.
I have put all the added binary files in zips in the correct hierarchy to be
added directly to the trunk folder. I had to use 2 to avoid the size limits,
but you can just extract both zip files to the same folder in order to merge
their contents.
The shell script will run the necessary svn commands to remove all the old
files, rename one, and add all the new binary files from the above zips. Note
that there are a couple of .so files that at least on my system dont show up in
'svn status'.
The patch will then modify the build.deps file accordingly, and update the
consoles build system to a newer version which alters the output layout, brings
the win32 build into line with the newer launcher type already used in the
others, and totally removes the need for any secondary launch shell/batch
scripts and relies solely on the native RCP launchers to do the work.

> The console is currently using a mixture of newer and older rcp plugins, and
> a mixture of different launchers depending on platform. It should be updated
> to uniformly use recent plugins, and the launchers for all platforms
> standardised on the new equinox launchers.
