I just raised QPID-1862
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-1862) which occurred last
Thursday on a pair of local CruiseControl machines.
There were a number of failures from the Io Layer:
Exception in thread "IoReceiver - localhost/127.0.0.1:5673"
org.apache.qpid.transport.TransportException:
java.net.SocketException: Socket is closed
at
org.apache.qpid.transport.network.io.IoReceiver.close(IoReceiver.java:106)
Rajith, just wondered if this commit might have fixed the problem:

The CC machines stated the svn version was 774465 if that helps
The tests haven't failed since and only failed the once on that day.
