For reasons I cannot see, svn r.779435 has broken the python cluster
tests - even though this checkin is in the client code only. The point
of breakage is running a qpidd --quit --port=xxxx on the first node of
an established cluster causes an exception to be thrown with the message
"critical Broker start-up failed: Removing stale lock file
qpidd.xxxx.pid". This is the mechanism the python tests use to stop all
the nodes on a cluster. This can be reproduced by hand.
I don't have a workaround yet other than reverting to a revision prior
to the above. Using r.779262 (the prior checkin) does not exhibit this
problem.
The same check-in also breaks ais_check (i.e. the c++ based cluster unit
tests).
