I don't like the newer one... The feather is not very distinctive and
looks like a smudge on the bottom of on 'O' rather than like a strong
'Q'.
I sort of agree with this, although I'm sympathetic with the desire to
make the angle of the two feathers align. Maybe you'd have better luck
resizing/moving the feather up a bit so that it is less smudged in with
the O.
