Given the resources we have, I think we should promise to create consistent docs for 0.7, and apologize for the hodge-podge we currently have without promising to fix it. Is that about right? > 2. But going forward, I think we should set a date for one final export, point to it as archives, and point to that. I think we should pretty much retire the Wiki. Going forward, perhaps we should move to this approach? * Design documentation is checked in with the source code, and kept up to date for the current version * Proposals, etc. are submitted in JIRAs or on the mailing list * Documentation lives in DocBook. * API docs are generated for a given version * Other website content is created in vanilla HTML and wrapped using the Python script If we agree on something like this, we should document it on the web site. > 3.
