Hi,
As you probably are aware, there is a lack of decent docbook editors,
and sometimes the generation of html, pdf, etc is not particularly
straightforward. I like to use OxygenXML for my docbook editing and I
manage to find out that guys from OxygenXML are generously offering
free licenses for their product for the people working on ASF (and
other open-source) projects. They will have a formal program soon,
but in the meantime one can email [email protected] and request a
license.
I like OxygenXML, and mentioned it along with other DocBook editing
tools here:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/qpid/trunk/qpid/doc/book/README.txt
This also describes other things people may want to know for editing and
processing DocBook. If anyone wants a Stylus Studio license, I can
probably finagle an offer to let ASF people use it on our projects, but
I'd have to check.
