Jiri Daněk created DISPATCH-2337:
------------------------------------
Summary: Dispatch on Ubuntu installs its Python module into
site-packages, instead of dist-packages
Key: DISPATCH-2337
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DISPATCH-2337
Project: Qpid Dispatch
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.18.0
Reporter: Jiri Daněk
There is a convention in Ubuntu where the system Python interpreter uses the
dist-packages directory to store modules. Dispatch installs itself into
site-packages, which directory is however not in Python's sys.path.
